Valentine’s Day[care] Craft

These adorable (and easy) heart-shaped crayons are sure to colour your world.

With heart-day right around the corner, I was trying to come up with a unique SOMETHING to make/bake for my toddlers daycare BFF’s. Check out what I ended up creating!

The events calendar at daycare reminded me that Valentine’s Day was quickly approaching and I really only had a few days left to get myself together and whip something up for Bodhi to share.

I was in search of something I could send him to daycare with that wasn’t food related. I really wanted to be sure no child was left out due to allergies or intolerances. Bodhi struggled with a milk and egg allergy, so I feel your struggle. After a few swipes, I quickly found something that sparked an idea.

I love the different ways the crayon colours blended.

Here’s what you’ll need:

-A silicone heart-shape mold I found mine at the dollar (more like four dollar) store for $4!

-Crayons (the amount of crayons you will need depends entirely on the size of your mold.) My mold required 16-20 crayons per heart. Amazon is obviously my go-to! $4.97 for a pack of 96.

-Water & patience (both free!)
